We drove an hour to try this restaurant and can't wait to do it again. I will admit that as we pulled into their lot we were a bit skeptical, but we went in anyway. It's not really a dine-in restaurant as it's more of a bodega-sized grocery store, but they have one indoor table and a few outdoor tables so we ordered our entrees. Wow, we needed an extra table just for the entrees we ordered because the portions are generous (which is quite an understatement). The food was delicious! There aren't many places to get good South Indian food around here so we ordered some dosas (dosai?) plus some biryani, and a beef dish (because where else will you find beef on an Indian menu?). It was all quite amazing. And the owners are just wonderful too. We really look forward to going back soon.

Oh my god the serving sizes are insane. I only could eat half of my plate, and it probably could feed 3 people. Not only that, but I received the most flavorful and well-spiced biryani I have tried! Will be returning very soon!

The best! Was hesitant to try based on location alone, but had too many people tell me to try it. Very glad I did... the owners are great - super friendly and cook as if preparing a meal for family. The food was fantastic. So fresh!! The flavors were amazing. No better place for authentic South Indian food. Cannot recommend Ateethi enough!! You should try it.

Saw there is Onam sadya ( feast associated with a Kerala festival) being served here during the first week of September. Had a minimum order of 5 for entire sadya, hence ended up taking out two dishes from the menu( mango pulussery and cabbage thoren). Both items were authentic. Also found their chicken kuthu parotta to be unique and quite different from other places. Key differences being this one to have a 'curried' version and also had chunks of eggs. Tried Tandoori chicken, naan and papri chat and they were OK as well. Portion sizes are decent. They are trying to set up an Indian store set up for groceries in the same location. As of now, saw seating for restaurant in the patio, but not sure if it is functional. Plenty of parking spaces. Worth a try if you like authentic south Indian food!

Second order tonight from Ateethi. Got the Chicken Tikka Burrito, Chicken Sheek Kebabs and the Spicy Chicken Wings and Garlic Naan. All were delicious! The burrito was really good and very large! The kebabs come with a ton of veggies and are moist and tasty! The Chicken Wings are SPICY! Very tasty!!

Let me get this out of the way: Yes, Ateethi is an Indian food place inside a building shaped like an ice cream cone. That part is weird, I get it. There's no sit-down space and you're gonna pull into the parking lot thinking, "Am I in the right place?" You are. Don't worry. We were skeptical, too. But the food? My god, the food. I got the lamb korma with garlic naan and not only was it some of the best takeout Indian food I've had, it was cheaper, too. I ate half and I was stuffed, then the second half was even better as leftovers. If you're looking for takeout Indian, this is what you're looking for, I promise.

The food is made to order and isn't Americanized. I'm glad I finally tried it. The owners are pleasant and professional. Keep in mind that the establishment is providing fresh food concerning wait times. Even with that, the time to wait is reasonable and you can always order online or call it in. I've enjoyed going down the menu and having old favorites. I'll add pictures the next time I order. Try them, I'm almost certain you won't be disappointed.

Getting takeout Indian food can't get anymore adorable than this! I love the giant ice cream cone and am happy to see it have been brought back to life. Ordered some samosas, garlic naan, goat biriyani and palak paneer. It was all very fresh and delightful and ready quickly. Decent portions and a reasonable price. I took a star off for service. The person who took my phone order and the person who handed out the food were not friendly. I would imagine if you were serving Indian food out of a giant cone you would be able to smile just a little.

"Atheeti Devo Bhava" in Sanskrit loosely translates to guests should be treated as God. This is a quaint, unique but authentic Indian restaurant, and the only one I have seen that is in a giant ice cream cone building (don't worry, they have a decent size kitchen in the back) lives up to the moto above. It opened a few months ago and we have been there and got take out a few times due to the great flavors and value. The Papri Chaat, which is meant to be a snack, was the size of an entire entrée and filled me up for only $5. The Chicken Tikka Masala container was filled to the top and packed with what seems like an entire chicken for only $12(?). The sauce is more of an Indian "gravy" and not laden with cream like other restaurants. The spicy chicken wings remind me of Indo-Chinese chili chicken, though I wish I would have eaten them there and not packed it to go as they get a little soggy with the sauce. Seating is outdoors on a few tables but there is no shade so be prepared. Next on my list is the Dosas and the Indian Burritos. Try the Kothu Paratha (a flaky paratha torn up and mixed with your choice of curry - I recommend the goat curry). The best part of this establishment is the owner. Great person who is passionate about food as well as the customer. On my first visit when I inquired about the Kulfi I spotted after I had paid my bill, he offered it to me and would not charge me, even though I insisted. Support local businesses - especially tasty ones ;-)
